Typical mountain farmhouse with large land
The property is located in the Piambernardo hamlet of Garessio, a mountain town surrounded by woods and located just under a thousand meters above sea level. The village can be easily reached by car, even if the last two kilometers of road are partly concrete and partly dirt.
It is possible to park two cars in front of the house on the property.
The house is independent on four sides and is arranged on the ground floor and first floor.
A small entrance corridor on the ground floor serves as a cloakroom and leads
in the kitchen. The latter is characterized by a wood-burning fireplace and terracotta flooring, both original from the period. The window in the room was replaced with a PVC window with double glazing.
The internal masonry staircase leads to the first floor where the sleeping area has been created.
There are three rooms, the two largest have one with a terracotta floor and the second with parquet and are both in good maintenance conditions, while the single room has an antique terracotta floor and is equipped with a wooden balcony. The view is panoramic on the rocky wall above and on glimpses of mountains.
The bathroom, located on the first floor and divided from the bedrooms by the stairwell, has a window and needs to be rebuilt.
On the ground floor and with access from the outside of the house there are two cellars with stone walls and exposed wooden ceilings, as well as an old stable measuring approximately 30 square meters. Above the latter there is the old barn which has the same size and which is accessible via a staircase and a wooden balcony.
The roof of the entire building and the slabs of the residential part have been redone, while the structure of the house has no cracks or damage.
The land owned is located in front of the house and consists of a park of over 8,000 square meters of pine and chestnut forest and pasture that develop into a single body. Finally, in the lawn in front of the house there is a stone cottage independent on four sides and arranged on two floors with a surface area of approximately 30 square metres.
